CoronaVirus Vaccine Big Update | कोरोना का टीका पहले अमरीका को मिलने के ख़याल पर फ़्रांस को एतराज़



फ़्रांसिसी दवा कंपनी सेनोफ़ी के कोविड-19 टीके के शोध में अमरीका की संस्था यूएस बायोमेडिकल ऐडवांस्ड रिसर्च ऐंड डेवलपमेंट ऑथोरिटी (बार्डा) ने निवेश किया है.
मगर सेनोफ़ी को हाल के वर्षों में फ़्रांस सरकार से उसके शोध कार्यों में सहायता के लिए लाखों यूरो के करों में छूट मिली है.
कंपनी ने इसके अलावा पिछले महीने ब्रिटेन की कंपनी ग्लैक्सोस्मिथक्लाइन के साथ मिलकर एक टीका बनाने के लिए समझौता किया है.
कोरोना वायरस पर शोध के लिए इस महीने एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऑनलाइन सम्मेलन भी हुआ जिसकी अध्यक्षता यूरोपीय संघ ने की.
सम्मेलन में लगभग 40 देशों ने 8 अरब डॉलर का चंदा देने का संकल्प किया.
अमरीका और रूस ने इसमें हिस्सा नहीं लिया.
यूरोपीय संघ ने ज़ोर देकर कहा है कि सभी देशों का टीके पर समान अधिकार होना चाहिए.

फ्रांस के एक मंत्री ने चेतावनी दी है कि फ़्रेंच दवा कंपनी सेनोफ़ी अगर कोविड-19 का टीका बनाती है और अमरीका के बाज़ार को प्राथमिकता देती है तो इसे कतई स्वीकार नहीं किया जाएगा.
फ़्रांस के उप वित्त मंत्री एग्नस पैनिए-रूनाशर ने इस कंपनी के सीईओ की बातों पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए ये बात कही.
सेनोफ़ी के सीईओ पॉल हडसन ने कहा था, "अमरीका सरकार के पास सबसे ज़्यादा प्री-ऑर्डर करने का अधिकार है क्योंकि उसने इस जोखिम भरे काम में निवेश किया है."
इसी पर फ्रांसीसी मंत्री ने देश के सड रेडियो स्टेशन से कहा, "हम ये स्वीकार नहीं कर सकते कि कोई किसी देश को वित्तीय कारणों से प्राथमिकता दे."
दुनिया के कई देशों में कई कंपनियाँ कोविड-19 का टीका बनाने के लिए शोध कर रही हैं.
ऐसे टीके बनाने में सामान्यतः कई वर्ष लग जाते हैं.
