Coronavirus Lockdown: 30 जून तक सामान्य ट्रेनों में बुक की गई रेल टिकटें रद्द, रिफंड देगा रेलवे

भारतीय रेल (Indian Railways) ने सामान्य यात्री ट्रेनों में 30 जून तक की यात्रा के लिए बुक सभी टिकटों को रद्द कर दिया है, इसमें मेल/एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों और उपनगरीय सेवाएं भी शामिल हैं. सभी यात्रियों को पूरा किराया रिफंड कर दिया जाएगा. रेलवे ने गुरुवार को बयान में यह जानकारी दी. हालांकि, रेलवे ने कहा कि इस दौरान, प्रवासी मजदूरों को उनके घर पहुंचाने के लिए चलाई जा रहीं 'श्रमिक' ट्रेनें और नई दिल्ली तथा प्रमुख स्टेशनों के बीच चल रही 15 जोड़ी विशेष ट्रेनों का परिचालन जारी रहेगा. 
इससे पहले बुधवार को रेलवे ने स्पेशल ट्रेनों में 22 मई से वेटिंग टिकट की शुरुआत करने की घोषणा की थी. रेलवे बोर्ड ने बुधवार को न केवल अपनी वर्तमान विशेष ट्रेनों, बल्कि आगामी सभी ट्रेनों में यात्रा के लिए 22 मई से प्रतीक्षा सूची का प्रावधान शुरू करने संबंधी आदेश जारी किया. वर्तमान विशेष ट्रेनों में केवल कंफर्म टिकट बुक किये जा रहे हैं, वहीं 22 मई से शुरू हो रही यात्राओं के वास्ते 15 मई से टिकटों की बुकिंग में प्रतीक्षा सूची में टिकट बुक कराने का प्रावधान होगा. अब 1 AC में 20, एग्जीक्यूटिव क्लास में 20, 2AC में 50, 3AC में 100, AC चेयर कार में 100 और स्लिपर में 200 तक वेटिंग टिकट काटे जाएंगे. 
पीटीआई के मुताबिक, कोरोना वायरस को फैलने से रोकने के लिए लगाये गये लॉकडाउन से पहले यात्रियों द्वारा बुक कराई गई 94 लाख टिकटों के रद्द होने पर भारतीय रेलवे को 1,490 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान होगा. 
रेलवे के शीर्ष अधिकारियों ने ‘पीटीआई' को बताया कि 22 मार्च से 14 अप्रैल के बीच यात्रा के लिए बुक कराई गई 55 लाख टिकटों के लिए 830 करोड़ रुपये की राशि वापस की जाएगी. रेलवे ने 21 दिन के लॉकडाउन लागू होने से तीन दिन पहले 22 मार्च को अपनी यात्री ट्रेन सेवाओं को व्यापक पैमाने पर स्थगित कर दिया था. 
उन्होंने बताया कि लॉकडाउन को 15 अप्रैल से बढ़ाकर तीन मई तक किए जाने के निर्णय के कारण बुक कराए गए 39 लाख टिकटों के लिए 660 करोड़ रुपये की राशि वापस की जायेगी.
